Building Bonds and Futures: A Look Back at 2025 Kids' Open Day with ZYfire

2025-09-06 15:24

This past August 23rd, our headquarters buzzed with excitement, laughter, and plenty of curious energy during our annual Employee Children's Open Day. Under the theme "In the Name of Love, Growing with You," we opened our doors to let our employees' kids step into their parents' world, see what we do here, and feel the warmth of our company culture.

A Tour to Remember

The day started with a tour of our facilities. The kids, hand-in-hand with their parents, explored our exhibition space. Our President, Merry, personally took on the role of tour guide, sharing the story of our company's journey and explaining the technology behind what we make—including our key products like the layflat hose and our specialized fire hose systems. She made sure to connect it all in a way that was fun and engaging for our younger visitors.

Special Gifts with a Special Meaning

Every family went home with a custom gift bag filled with goodies. The backpack included a notebook, a fun Disney cup, a creative pen, some modeling clay, and a unique "Seed Letter." This letter was printed on special plantable paper. On the back was a heartfelt message from us; kids can plant it, water it, and literally watch love and hope grow—right from their own backyard.

Talents, Games, and Getting Creative

After the tour, we officially welcomed everyone. Our President gave a warm speech, emphasizing that our employees are our greatest treasure, and their children’s happiness is our deepest wish.

Then it was time for the kids to shine! The talent show segment was a huge hit. We had performances ranging from dances and songs to poetry and music—each child received a certificate and a cool mystery gift, and you could see the pride on every face.

Next up were the parent-child games. Everyone jumped into activities like the "Hose Squat Challenge" and a trivia contest. It was loud, it was fun, and you could feel the teamwork in the room.

One of the most creative parts of the day was the "Little Inventor" workshop. Using the clay from their packs, the kids designed their own versions of our products and shared their ideas for the future. Everyone received toys and prizes—it was a blast!

Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders

We also took time to celebrate some big achievements. We awarded scholarships to children of our employees who had excelled in their recent exams. One of them, a student named Tang who just got into a great university for her master’s degree, shared her story and tips for success.

Later, during the "Heart-to-Heart" session, parents and kids exchanged handwritten letters. We also set up a message wall where families could leave notes with good wishes and ideas for the company. Our president was so moved she even gave a spontaneous award for the most creative message.

Wrapping Up a Perfect Day

As the afternoon wound down, our President Merry thanked everyone for coming and shared a final wish: that the children grow up proud of their parents and happy in who they are. We took a big group photo—a perfect keepsake from a day full of joy and connection.

This was our second year hosting this event, and it’s become something really special. It’s more than a day of fun—it’s a way to strengthen ties between the company and our families, and to live out our belief that people always come first.

We’re already looking forward to next year and finding new ways to make this event even more meaningful. Because at the end of the day, we’re not just building products—we’re building a community.
